PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pair of pliers capable of easily and certainly carrying out fixing work of a sleeve even in a small space such as a lighting device by using it in fixing the sleeve on a wire by squeezing the sleeve through which the wire is passed. SOLUTION: A crossed projected piece 10 of projecting width of about several mm is projected and provided so as to make a cross-section L letter shape toward the same crossing direction on a head end of a pair of holding parts 5 in the pliers A, and sleeve squeezing parts 11 one of which is made in a semi-circular receiving groove 12 and the other is made to a squeezed projection 13 of a small projection are formed on facing surfaces of the crossed projected piece 10. The sleeve 35 projected to a lower end of a level fixture 30 and through which the suspension wire 21 is passed is used to caulk and fix by squeezing it by the sleeve squeezing parts 11. The pliers A can be held by hands upward so that they are in parallel with the wire 21, and consequently, it is possible to caulk and fix the sleeve 35 by inserting the head ends of the pliers A into a point even if it is small in space.
