<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process cartridge in which even if an electrophotographic photoreceptor and a shutter for protecting the electrophotographic photoreceptor from external shock and outside light keep contact with each other, problems such as a scratch and rubbing memory do not occur. <P>SOLUTION: When a maximum coefficient of static friction of the shutter is represented by F<SB>(S)</SB>and a maximum coefficient of static friction of a surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor by F<SB>(D)</SB>, conditions represented by the expressions: F<SB>(S)</SB>×F<SB>(D)</SB>≤0.85 (1) and F<SB>(S)</SB>×F<SB>(D)</SB>≥1.25 (2) are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
