PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for processing the liquid, containing suspended solid and meltage. SOLUTION: This extracting apparatus for processing the liquid containing suspended solid and meltage includes an inlet chamber (4) which is caught by an automatic sampler, to conduct liquid communication with an outlet chamber (6) via an integrated duct (8). In the equipment, one or plural automatic sampler needles inject the liquid into the inlet chamber (4) containing a separating material (10), the injected liquid passes through this separating material to flow into the outlet chamber (6), then the liquid may be collected from the outlet chamber by the automatic sampler needles. Further, an airtight seal can be formed between the needles and the inlet chamber (4) to inhibit the back flow from the outlet chamber to the inlet chamber. Many embodiments of the equipment (2) are described, including configuration and structure of a well plate which can be held by automatic sampler robot system and/or can be retained in an automatic sampler tray.
