PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an applicator for terminal crimping which can crimp a terminal, while keeping appropriate position of a crimping terminal to a wire, while preventing bending of the crimping terminal. SOLUTION: A lower unit 8 comprises a base 28 with an anvil 10, a holding member 36 for holding it, a cut-off part 44 which is supported slidably with a cutoff part 46 which holds a carrier plate connected to a crimping terminal 100 and an elastic device 45 which biases it upwardly. The elastic device 45 includes a first coil spring 45a having small spring constant, and a second coil spring 45b having large spring constant. An upper unit 7 comprises a pressing member 9, which crushes the crimping terminal 100 with the anvil 10, a holding member 14 which holds the pressing member 9, a cut-off part pressing member 24 which is held slidably, and an elastic device 25 which biases it downwardly.
