PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the peelability of a cellulose acylate film from a support and prevent the coagulation of silicon dioxide fine particles. SOLUTION: This method for producing a cellulose acylate dope comprises mixing either of silicon dioxide fine particles and an acid having an acid dissociation constant (pKa) of 1.9 to 4.5 in water with a polymer solution 22 using a cellulose acylate as a polymer to form the first solution 47, and then adding the other of the fine particles and the acid to the first solution. Alternatively, the method for producing a cellulose acylate dope comprises mixing a solvent, silicon dioxide fine particles and an acid in an acid concentration of 0.5 wt.% to form the second solution, and then inline-adding the second solution to the transferred cellulose acylate solution. By the methods, the cellulose acylate film can well be peeled from a support, and the coagulation of the fine particles can be prevented.
