摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polylactic acid-based spontaneously crimpable fiber having high crimping performance with developed crimps hardly causing flexural fatigue, therefore suitable for inner cotton applications such as a cushioning material. SOLUTION: The polylactic acid-based spontaneously crimpable fiber is such conjugate fiber that a polylactic acid resin A and a polylactic acid resin B differing in molecular weight from each other are conjugated in the single filament, wherein the polylactic acid resin A and the polylactic acid resin B consist of L-lactic acid and/or D-lactic acid respectively, and at least one of the resins A and B simultaneously meets the following requirements(1) and (2): (1) the content molar ratio for L-lactic acid and D-lactic acid:L/D or D/L is greater than 99.0:1.0 and (2) the amount of components≤1,000 in molecular weight in the polylactic acid resins is below 0.08 mass%.
