PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera in which a main body of an existent silver salt camera can be utilized as it is and digital image data can be easily produced only by a conventional operation method without damaging original operability and good appearance of the silver salt camera. SOLUTION: The digital camera is comprised of a tubular main body portion which can be loaded in a cartridge chamber of a silver salt film camera, and a plate-like imaging unit extending from the tubular main body towards a spool chamber of the silver salt camera and disposing an imaging device at a position where object light incident from a lens of the silver salt camera can be received, and imaging is performed on the imaging device by exposure with pressing a shutter of the silver salt camera.
