PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera capable of easily displaying an overall image vertically photographed in a desired direction. SOLUTION: This digital camera 1 is provided with: an image pickup element part 10 for acquiring the image of an object; an image display part 40 for displaying an image acquired by the image pickup element part; an image rotating operation part 60 for inputting the rotary operation of an image to be displayed at the image display part 40; and an image processing part 50 for rotating the image to be displayed at the image display part 40 based on the input from the rotating operation part 60, and for reducing or enlarging the image by magnification so that the whole image is displayed at the image display part 40 while constantly maintaining the aspect ratio.
