PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of guiding properly other vehicle in response to requirement. SOLUTION: This navigation system acquires a position of the other vehicle 147 not mounted with the navigation system, generates guide information for restoring the other vehicle 147 to a guide route of own vehicle, when the position of the other vehicle 147 runs out of the guide route of the own vehicle, generates guide information for guiding a position of the own vehicle with respect to the other vehicle 147, when a distance between the own vehicle and the other vehicle 147 is a prescribed value or more, and transmits the generated guide information to a communication terminal 146 mounted on the other vehicle 147, by a hand-free function, without depending on an operation by a user.
