摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an electromagnetic suspension from being locked when there is such a high-frequency input that the control of a motor cannot follow. SOLUTION: The electromagnetic suspension 90 is equipped with a motor 22 having an output shaft 36 connected with a ball screw 44, and an expansion/contraction part 18 which is extendingly/contractingly controlled by the motor 22 to generate a damping force between the sprung and the unsprung of a vehicle. A coil spring 54 is provided in parallel with the electromagnetic suspension 90 to elastically support the unsprung of the vehicle. A stator of the motor 22 is rotatably held around the output shaft 36. A small sized coil spring 32 generates an elastic force in the reverse direction relative to the rotation of the stator of the motor 22, and a damping plate 30 having an orifice 34 generates the damping force.
