PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a discharge lamp lighting device capable of improving heat radiation of heat generating components and preventing malfunction of a detection part as well as a control part, a discharge lamp lighting device, and a lighting fixture. SOLUTION: The mounting structure of the discharge lamp lighting device comprises a direct current converting part 2 for converting an alternating current power source into a direct current power source, an inverter part 3 equipped with a pair of switching elements Q1, Q2 and converting a direct current output from a direct current converting part 2 into a high-frequency output to supply it to a discharge lamp, a control part 4 controlling the both switching elements Q1, Q2 to adjust the high-frequency output output from the inverter part 3, a detecting part 5 detecting connection abnormalities of the discharge lamp, a printed board 6, on a soldering face 6a of which the both switching elements Q1, Q2, the control part 4, and the detecting part 5 are to be mounted, and a case 7, housing the printed board 6, in which resin 8 for heat radiation is filled between the soldering face 6a and a bottom face 7a so as not to cover electronic components constituting the control part 4 and the detecting part 5, respectively.
