DETECTOR FOR SUBSTANCE TO BE INSPECTED IN GAS AND ITS HOLDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detector capable of simply and rapidly detecting a substance to be inspected in gas with high sensitivity and capable of avoiding the error caused by the touching of test paper with a hand, and a test paper holder therefor. SOLUTION: The test paper holder for detecting the substance to be inspected in the gas is equipped with a lower main body having a gas flowing hole, the porous test paper support plate supported on the lower main body so as to leave a gap and having the test paper held thereon and the upper main body connected to the lower main body and characterized in that at least its ceiling part is formed of a transparent material and having a gas flow hole. The lower and upper main bodies are connected, the test paper support plate is held in them and a gap is formed between the test paper and the under surface of the ceiling part in a case that the test paper is held on the test paper support plate. The detector for the substance to be inspected in the gas is constituted by holding the test paper for detecting the substance to be inspected in the gas on the test paper support plate in the holder in an airtight state.
