PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of highly accurately detecting a focal point by correcting a focal point detection error resulting from displacement of the optical axis of an AF optical system, which is affected by an environment and aging. SOLUTION: The camera includes: a photo-sensor (12); a focal point detection optical system (8) for guiding a luminous flux from a photographic optical system to the photo-sensor; and a control means (23) for exerting focus control for the photographic optical system by using a signal from the photo-sensor. The control means detects an amount of optical displacement between the focal point detection optical system and the photo-sensor.
