PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer package of a camera in consideration of assemblability in a metal outer package which is draw-molded in a direction different from an optical axis in an imaging apparatus. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus has: a metal outer packaging member forming the appearance of the imaging apparatus; and a composing member projecting from the outer packaging face of the packaging member and fixed to the outer package, wherein the outer packaging member includes a first composing face and a second composing face which are draw-molded in a direction different from the imaging optical axis and disposed parallel to that direction and opposite to each other, the first composing face has a first opening for permitting the composing member to project, whereas the second composing face has a second opening larger than the first opening.
