The method involves accelerating products (21) to a higher transportation speed in a transportation direction along striking air in case of smaller transportation speed during the delivery of the products. The products are slowed down by a pressure drop in a gap (22) between a surface of the products and adjacent conducting surfaces, in case of higher transportation speed during the delivery. An independent claim is also included for a device for executing the method for transporting two-dimensional products.
