Particulate lubricants are disclosed which comprise discrete particles of a fatty monoamide, especially oleamide and discrete particles of at least one other powder metallurgy lubricant, which provide a synergistic free-flowing composition; there are also provided novel compositions of matter for formin g sintered metal components comprising a mixture of sinterable powdered metal and the particulate lubricants.
