PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which can suppress occurrence of data errors by suppressing DC fluctuations of a reproducing RF signal caused by a slight defect such as a fingerprint or a scratch. SOLUTION: A reproduction RF signal which suppresses DC fluctuations caused by a slight defect is acquired by performing frequency division of a reproducing RF signal with a frequency division element 3 into a low-pass signal including a defect and a high-pass signal including data, restricting the level of the low-pass signal with a low-pass signal level limit amplifier 5 and adding it to the high-pass signal, and occurrence of data error resulting from a low-pass defect can be suppressed.
