PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device easy to designate a folder for image file recording, especially, an imaging device easy to designate a folder to be deleted. SOLUTION: A digital camera stores a latest date (T1) when an image file is recorded, and a latest date (T2) when the image file is read so as to reproduce and display an image with respect to the folder recording the image file, and varies color of the image according to whether lapsed times from the dates (T1, T2) exceed prescribed reference periods or not when displaying the image of the folder.
