PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a door device for an elevator capable of improving operation efficiency of the elevator. SOLUTION: A non-contact sensor 15 for detecting a passenger near a door 5 is provided in an upper part of the door 5. A car operating panel 16 is provided inside a car 3. The car operating panel 16 is provided with a door closing button 17 for inputting an instruction to close the door 5 and a door opening button 18 for inputting an instruction to open the door 5. In the case wherein a passenger is detected by the non-contact sensor 15 after the door closing button 17 is operated and the door 5 is reversely opened and when the door closing button 17 is operated again within the predetermined time, an opening/closing control unit 19 closes the door 5 even if the passenger is detected by the non-contact sensor 15.
