<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for treating liquid organic waste by which organic materials, phosphorus and nitrogen are highly efficiently removed, the system is miniaturized, the space is reduced and the coagulation treatment even in human waste which has high SS concentration is effectively carried out. <P>SOLUTION: In the system for treating the liquid organic waste which is provided with a biological treatment apparatus 11 for applying biological treatment to the liquid organic waste and a solid liquid separation apparatus 12 for separating the biologically treated waste into a treated liquid and sludge, an iron electrolytic apparatus 17 into which the liquid organic waste taken out from the biological treatment apparatus 11 is introduced is provided, an anode containing iron and a conductive cathode are oppositely arranged in the iron electrolytic apparatus, iron ion is eluted by applying voltage between the anode and the cathode dipped in the liquid organic waste and the waste containing the eluted iron ion is returned to the biological treatment apparatus 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
