PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent sound skipping or the like in recording and/or reproducing for a disk, and to prevent damage of an optical pickup apparatus at the time of transportation or the like. SOLUTION: A floating chassis 10 is attached to a main chassis 1 through a damper 3, a cartridge holder 18 which is provided with a pull-in lever 30 is arranged at this floating chassis 10 so as to be slidable, also, a mechanical chassis 37 constituting a recording and/or reproducing part is attached so as to be rotatable. Further, a lock piece 65 preventing movement of an optical pickup apparatus 45 is provided at the floating chassis 10 side when the recording and/or reproducing part is moved in the direction of being separated form a disk cartridge 201. Since the cartridge holder 18 and the mechanical chassis 37 constituting the recording and/or reproducing part are provided at the floating chassis 10 attached through the damper 3, sound skipping in recording and/or reproducing is not caused.
