PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the operability in the opening/closing operation of a sliding type upper lid, and to prevent a thermal deformation or the like of the upper lid from occurring. SOLUTION: The sliding type upper lid comprises a freely bendable lid main body 20 for which a plurality of slats are connected, and a decorative sheet 21 which coats the upper surface of the lid main body 20. A ring-like band 30 which is passed through passing holes 20b and 21b being respectively provided on the lid main body 20 and the decorative sheet 21 is pulled by a coil spring 32 through a snap ring 31. The passing holes 20b and 21b are provided while being shifted in the pulling direction so that the pulling force may intensively be applied to the edge section of the passing hole 21b on the decorative sheet side of which the heat-resistant temperature is higher. Thus, the deformation of the lid main body 20 of which the heat-resistant temperature is lower is prevented from occurring when the ambient temperature rises, and also, the bending of the slat on the last end of the lid main body 20 is corrected by a band 30.
