PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in the constitution of a conventional sheet processing device wherein it is necessary to provide a by-pass line from a sheet inlet 2 to a folding part because a carrier path to the downstream folding part cannot be secured, and consequently the capacity increase of a punched waste recovery tank 6 cannot be expected to increase the frequency of throwing away punched waste, and moreover the number of parts constituting the carrier path is increased to lead to a cost increase. SOLUTION: In the sheet processing device 1 having a punching means 5 for punching sheets and the folding part 16 for folding the sheets, a part of the punched waste recovery tank 6 is used as a guide of the carrier path r4 to the folding part 16.
