The invention relates to a mould and also to a method for producing a panel that is embedded in or surrounded by injection-moulded or expanded plastic, for example a cover that is provided with a plastic frame for a vehicle roof. According to the invention, to prevent the formation of burrs, at least one wire (13, 14) is located in the vicinity of at least one parting line of adjoining mould sections (11, 12, 6). Said wire can be heated to eliminate superfluous plastic material of the plastic frame (8). |
