<p>A saddle riding-type vehicle (30) having a vehicle frame (31), an engine (1) mounted on the vehicle frame (31), a combustion adjustment device (fuel injection valves (14, 15), ignition device, device for adjusting suction/exhaust valve opening/closing timing, equivalent pipe length adjustment device for a suction pipe or an exhaust pipe, electric throttle control device, idling speed adjustment device) for adjusting combusting conditions of the engine (1), and a combustion control device (ECU)(22) for controlling the combustion adjustment device. In order to inform the presence of the engine to a vehicle occupant or the surroundings, the ECU (22) controls, in at least a part of the operating conditions of the engine (1), the combustion adjustment device so that the maximum point of a sound pressure level wave form of an audible sound wave produced by the engine (1) or by the vehicle frame (31) varies to exceed a predetermined value within a predetermined period.</p> |
