<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an overheat preventer for electric motor which can lessen the energy consumption accompanying the use of a refrigerant as much as possible while preventing the overheat of the electric motor appropriately, using a refrigerant. <P>SOLUTION: This overheat preventer is equipped with temperature transition estimating means 24 and 25 which estimate the temperature transition of the electric motor 1 caused by the current application to the electric motor 1, an electric pump 8 which serves as a referent supply means for supplying the electric motor with a refrigerant, and refrigerant supply control means 26-28 which control the electric pump 8, according to the temperature transition and the refrigerant temperature of the electric motor 1. The temperature transition is estimated by fuzzy inference from a torque command and its average value. The amount of operation of the electric pump 8 is decided by the fuzzy inference from the temperature transition and the refrigerant temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
