PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer which can prevent an object to be printed from dropping to the outside of an apparatus body when the object in a standing state after printing is transferred to an end position of the apparatus body where the object can be taken out from outside the apparatus body, and which enables the object to be easily taken out to the outside of the apparatus body after transferred to the position where the object can be taken out. SOLUTION: Printing is carried out to an optical disk D which has a uniform weight balance between right and left of a center line in its longitudinal direction when held in the standing state. After printing, the optical disk D is transferred in the standing state towards a take-out part 14. At that time, the optical disk D is transferred to a position where a part of its transfer direction downstream side is projected from the take-out part 14, and where a part not smaller than 1/2 of the transfer direction upstream side is supported by the take-out part 14.
