<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily select two or more timbres generated simultaneously. <P>SOLUTION: When two of the keys of which the respective pitches are "A0", "B0", "C1", "D1", "E1", "F1", "G1", "A1", and "B1" are pressed while a timbre selection switch 23a is being pressed, the timbres allocated to the two pressed keys are set to the timbres to be used for dual performance.
