PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear body structure capable of suppressing the generation of drumming while suppressing increase of a vehicle weight and manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A rear brace 55 having larger rigidity than a center brace 51 is laid between bonding parts of left and right side rails 22 and a C pillar 39 so as to extending in a vehicle width direction along a lower surface of a roof panel 21 at a rear side of the center brace 51 laid between the bonding parts of the left and right side rails 22 and a B pillar 35 so as to extend in the vehicle width direction along the lower surface of the roof panel 21. The rigidity of the rear part of the roof panel 21 largely applied with a pressure by pressure variation in a cabin 2 is ensured by the rear brace 55 having the rigidity, shape variation is suppressed and generation of drumming can be effectively suppressed.
