<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen manufacturing system capable of manufacturing hydrogen at a high efficiency and little in the lowering of the durability of the system by the deterioration of a reforming catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This hydrogen manufacturing system is a hydrogen manufacturing system equipped with a steam reforming type reforming reactor, and a product mainly composed of hydrogen is obtainable by reacting a hydrocarbon oil having a sulfur content of not higher than 0.5 mass ppm, Reed vapor pressure of not higher than 70 kPa, an initial boiling point of not lower than 25°C but not higher than 45°C, a 50 vol% distilling temperature of not lower than 65°C but not higher than 95°C, a 90 vol% distilling temperature of not lower than 100°C but not higher than 150°C, and an aromatics content of not higher than 10 vol%, in the presence of a reforming catalyst containing a group VIII element of the periodical table as an active metal, at a reaction temperature of 400-1,000°C, and under a condition of the mixing ratio (S/C) of water to the hydrocarbon oil of 1-5 mol/mol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
