<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent lowering of productivity due to occurrence of a jam when processing image formation by using a plurality of continuous sheet feeding units. <P>SOLUTION: When a delay jam occurs in a jam position 2000, it is detected in a step 65, and a selecting means 2 is activated in a step 66. A substitute paper sheet feeding stage is searched downstream of the jam position 2000 in a step 93 to detect existence of a paper sheet feeding step 1210a, and the paper sheet feeding step 1210a is selected as a substitute paper sheet feeding step in a step 94. Image forming processing is performed for paper sheets existing downstream of the jam position 2000, and after waiting passing of all the paper sheets through a junction point 1500 from the paper sheet feeding stage 1210a to a paper sheet carrying route in a step 68, the image forming processing is continued by changing paper sheet feeding from the paper sheet feeding stage 1210a in a step 69. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
