PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program table mounted digital broadcasting receiver allowing the retrieval and recording reservation of series programs to be simply made. SOLUTION: The receiver comprises a control means for forming an EPG upon receipt of an instruction from an input unit, on the basis of program information stored in a storing means, actuating a display to show the series program information list 42 as a group on the same screen as the EPG screen 41 and, if the focused program on the EPG screen 41 is a series program, displaying its series information on a series program information list 42. The control means also provisionally reserves recording of broadcast portions on which no information can be acquired among the series information, according to information of a number of remaining programs, and executes real reservation of recording at the time of acquisition of the information.
