PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image print system wherein even an apparatus limited in operations can designate the layout of a plurality of images with simple operations and at least a particular printer designates the layout on paper in detail and can obtain a print result as designated. SOLUTION: When index print is instructed, the index print capable of marking an image identifier and layout form print are carried out. Moreover, when a scanner reads the marked index print and a filled-out layout form, the system can print a designated image with the designated layout, resulting in obtaining a print result independently of a printer.
