PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a viscoelastic elastomer having both of rigidity and flexibility. SOLUTION: The viscoelastic elastomer comprises a base resin comprising a styrenic elastomer, a softener and a tackifying resin compatible with the base resin. The viscoelastic elastomer contains 50-600 pts. wt. softener and 500-2,000 pts. wt. tackifying resin based on 100 pts. wt. base resin. The softener is preferably a paraffinic process oil having≥100 mm<SP>2</SP>/s dynamic viscosity. The tackifying resin is preferably a hydrogenated petroleum resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
