PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest attaching structure of a chair in a simple structure capable of strongly and stably supporting a headrest, facilitating the positioning and assembling work of a backrest and the headrest and being manufactured at a low cost. SOLUTION: By providing a recessed groove 14a in left and right directions at the lower end of the headrest 11, a forked part 14d separated in front and back directions is formed at the lower end part of the headrest 11. The forked part 14d is made to straddle and fit to a rear part upper frame 13b in the left and right directions provided on an upper end rear part of the backrest 7 of the chair from above and the lower part of the headrest 11 is attached to a backrest frame body 13.
