<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance transmission efficiency from a coil on the power supply section side to a coil on the power receiving section side while reducing leakage flux at a power supply section by shortening the opposing distance between the coil at the power supply section and the coil at the power receiving section. <P>SOLUTION: The noncontact power supply supplies power from a power supply section (13) to a power receiving section (12) through electromagnetic induction by disposing the power receiving section (12) of similar structure oppositely to the power supply section (13) comprising a core (18) having a plurality of ridges (18a) and a plurality of grooves (18b) formed between the ridges (18a), and a coil (19) surrounding the plurality of grooves (18b) of the core (18) annularly. Since the coil (19) is arranged at the height position of the ridge of the core (18), the opposing distance between the coil (19) at the power supply section (13) and the coil (22) at the power receiving section (12) is shortened and transmission efficiency from the coil (19) on the power supply section (13) side to the coil (22) on the power receiving section (12) side is enhanced while reducing leakage flux at the power supply section (13). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
