<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply device that suppresses the abnormal rise of a voltage caused by the regenerated energy of a motor contained in a device fed with power, and realizes the effective utilization of the regenerated energy. <P>SOLUTION: In the switching power supply device that feeds a DC current to the device fed with power that contains the motor M1, a capacitor C4 that is charged on the basis of the regenerated energy generated by the motor M1 is arranged, and charging to the capacitor C4 by the motor M1 is started when a power supply voltage of the motor M1 exceeds a prescribed value. Then, the capacitor C4 and a switch SW1 arranged between smoothing capacitors C2, C3 of a rectifying smoothing circuit included in the switching power supply device are made to be conductive when the device fed with power is operated at a low power consumption operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
