DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS DRIVING METHOD, DISPLAY MODULE, AND PERSONAL DIGITAL ASSISTANT

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is simple in a configuration of a driving circuit for entering a video signal to a pixel, is high in display grade of an medium contrast, and is low in electric power consumption, and its driving method.

SOLUTION: The display device has a light emitting element and a capacitor element for each of a plurality of the pixels. The one electrode of the light emitting element is connected to the capacitor element and a voltage above the threshold voltage of the light emitting element is applied to the one electrode of the light emitting element. The potential of the one electrode of the light emitting element is changed by changing the potential of the one electrode of the light emitting element to make the light emitting element emit light.
