PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide-area cargo transporting system superior in cargo transporting efficiency and easy to install and to provide a logistic hub. SOLUTION: The logistic hubs are provided at a plurality of points under the overpass of a high-speed way in the suburbs of principal cities. Along the sides of an up-lane and a down-lane of the high-speed way, ramps are provided for going down to the logistic hubs and going back from the logistic hubs to the high-speed way. Besides, entrance passages are provided for enterance from general roads to the logistic hubs. A freight car travelling on the high-speed way repeats reciprocation between predetermined sections of the high-speed way similarly to a railway vehicle travelling on a railway, and stops at the physical distribution hubs where cargoes are loaded or unloaded. A freight car travelling on the general roads receives/delivers cargoes from/to the freight car entered there from the high-speed way at the logistic hubs for pickup and delivery in the areas.
