A method for forming a pattern of an optical fiber sheet and an optical fiber sheet having a pattern area thereby are provided to express a design on the optical fiber sheet without causing physical damage or chemical deformation. A design pattern is completed by using a computer. The design pattern is outputted to a transparent film. The transparent film is reprinted on a photoresist film. A developing process is performed to develop the reprinted photoresist film. A dry process is performed to dry the developed the photoresist film. The dried photoresist film is attached on an optical fiber sheet(1). A pattern region is etched by injecting a polishing agent on an attaching surface of the optical fiber sheet by using compressed air.
