摘要 <p>Pyrido[3,2-h]quinazolines and/or 5,6-dihydro derivatives thereof are provided to improve conductivity of a doped organic semiconductor material by using as a matrix material therein, so that the doped organic semiconductor material has high thermal stability, such as high free glass transition temperature, high sublimation temperature and high degradation temperature. A pyrido[3,2-h]quinazolines and/or 5,6-dihydro derivatives thereof represented by the formula(8) are useful as a matrix material in the doped organic semiconductor material, wherein R^1 and R^2 are each independently aryl, heteroaryl, alkyl of the formula CHR2 with R=alkyl with C1-C20, or alkyl of the formula CR3 with R=alkyl with C1-C20; R^3 is H, optionally substituted alkyl with C1-C20, aryl or heteroaryl; R^4 is H, optionally substituted alkyl with C1-C20, aryl and heteroaryl, NH2, NHR with R=alkyl with C1-C20, NR2 with R=alkyl with C1-C20, N-alkylaryl, N-aryl2, carbazolyl, dibenzazepinyl or CN. A process for preparing the pyrido[3,2-h]quinazolines and/or 5,6-dihydro derivatives thereof represented by the formula(8) comprises the steps of: (1) reacting 2,4-disubstituted quinolinone of structure(4) with aldehyde in the presence of a base to prepare benzylidene hydroquinolinone(5), (2) reacting the benzylidene hydroquinolinone(5) with benzamidinium hydrochloride under basic conditions to prepare 1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrido[3,2-h]quinazoline(6) and oxidizing it to prepare 5,6-dihydropyrido[3,2-h]quinazoline(7), and (3) optionally performing aromatisation of the 5,6-dihydropyrido[3,2-h]quinazoline(7) to give the pyrido[3,2-h]quinazoline(8). Further, the base is potassium hydroxide and/or potassium third-butoxide.</p>
