A feedback information service device in a multi-antenna system and a method thereof are provided to transmit feedback information to a base station on the basis of a DU(Dual User)-MIMO(Multi Input Multi Output), thereby maintaining advantages of SU(Single User) MIMO and MU(Multi User) MIMO as increasing feedback efficiency. A feedback processor(410) receives feedback information from a terminal. A feedback information analyzer(412) decodes the feedback information to determine whether the current mode is a SU mode or MU mode or DU MIMO mode. A parameter determiner(414) calculates a CQI(Channel Quality Information) value by decoding the feedback information according to the determined mode. An MCS(Modulation and Coding Scheme) determiner(416) determines an MCS level according to the calculated CQI value.
