An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to remove a gate link if necessary after performing manufacture so as to have a sufficient resolution, thereby setting a resolution value in a manufacturing process. Gate pads(123) are formed in a non-display area(P2). First and second gate link groups(103,107) are formed in the non-display area, and electrically connect the gate pads with gate lines(102). The first gate link group is extended from the gate line and linearly disposed between the gate pad and the gate line. The second gate link group is extended from the gate line and connected with the gate pad by detouring the gate pad.
