A method for preparing polymer films is provided to control characteristics of polymer according to the orientation of polymer chains by drying a polymer solution while an electric field is applied to the polymer solution. A method for preparing polymer films includes the steps of: applying a polymer solution(11) containing at least one ionic polymer and a solvent onto a substrate(12); and applying an electric field to a thickness direction of the substrate to evaporate the solvent and solidify the ionic polymer. The ionic polymer contains a sulfonic acid group. The substrate is an electroconductive substrate. The substrate is disposed on any one electrode of the first electrode(13) and the second electrode(14) separated from each other, or is the first electrode or the second electrode.
