A taper processing method for bristles having improved productivity is provided to reduce the taper processing time to less than 1/3 of the original taper processing time and to have a simple process. A taper processing method for bristles having improved productivity makes both sides of the bristles tapered simultaneously by digesting the entire bundle of a large amount of cut bristles in a chemical solution in a general taper processing method of bristles that performs the taper processing by digesting the bristles in one kind of chemical solution that is selected from sodium hydroxide solution and sulfuric acid solution. The length of the tapered part of the bristle is adjusted by the kind and the concentration of a liquid material.
