The prosthesis has a medial prominence (13) presenting an upper return (15) directed from a posterior side of an intermediate plateau (2) which presents a posterior medial protrusion (14). A medial lobe presents a congruent round shape to that of a round cavity (16). Femoral condyles (7) of a femoral implant (1) and glenoid surfaces corresponding to the plateau are such that the lobe engages in the cavity during a flexion movement of a joint along a globally direction perpendicular (P) to a line (L) extending from a anterior zone of the protrusion to a posterior end of the return.
