<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester polyurethane foam having low density and especially excellent mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elongation. <P>SOLUTION: The polyester polyurethane foam is produced by reacting a foam raw material containing polyols, polyisocyanates, foaming agents and catalysts to effect the foaming and hardening of the product. The polyol to be used in the method is at least two kinds of polyester polyols having a functional group number of the hydroxyl group of 1.5-2.5 and at least one of the polyester polyol is a phthalate polyol having a number-average molecular weight of 300-550. Water is used as the foaming agent in an amount of 1.5-3 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the polyol, and the polyisocyanate contains 65-75 mass% 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate. The isocyanate index is set to 85-130. The polyester polyurethane foam has an apparent density of 35-55 kg/m<SP>3</SP>, a tensile strength of 240-400 kPa and an elongation of 300-450%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
