PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system or the like allowing rapid and easy browsing of contents of a necessary article while reducing a publication possessed by oneself.

SOLUTION: Bookmark data showing the contents of the publication transmitted from a terminal device T via a network NT are stored inside a bookmark database BMDB in association with a user ID for identifying a user having transmitted the bookmark data and a serial number different in each publication. When a request of the effect of transmitting the stored bookmark data is given from the terminal device T operated by the user, the stored bookmark data are returned to the user in association with the user ID showing the user, and book data shown by the bookmark data are distributed to the user. Even if the user does not keep on possessing the publication, only the contents desired to be viewed can be rapidly browsed.
