<p>[PROBLEMS] To provide a device for the removal of intermaxillary fixation with which not only intermaxillary fixation can be removed without the need of any tool but troubles to the operator and a burden on the patient can be reduced. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] The device for the removal of intermaxillary fixation comprises a maxillary joint (2) made of a first synthetic resin, a mandibular joint (3) made of a second synthetic resin, and a connector (4) made of an elastomer. The maxillary joint (2) comprises an upper-side hooking part (21) and an upper-side supporting part (22), and the mandibular joint (3) comprises a lower-side hooking part (31) and a lower-side supporting part (32). The elastomer forming the connector (4) is incompatible or poorly compatible with the first synthetic resin and second synthetic resin. The maxillary joint (2) and the mandibular joint (3) are bonded to the connector (4), with the upper-side supporting part (22) and the lower-side supporting part (32) embedded in the connector (4).</p>
