PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the adhesion of small blades to a track without enlarging a pushing force of the small blades to the track, improve the cutting property of mustache and durability, prevent the increase in noise, prevent sticking of shaving dregs, fat and the like thereto and to facilitate cleaning. SOLUTION: In this rotary electric shaver, a cutter 56 includes a boss part 60 engaged to a rotary shaft, the small blades 70 having the lower parts fixed to the boss part 60, standing up from the lower parts and having the upper parts sliding against the lower surface of a screen 12; and reduced cross-sectional portions 78 that have a dimension (a) in the radial direction made smaller than a dimension (c) in the radial direction of cutting edges 74, in the intermediate part of the small blades 70.
